Early into the pandemic, Ebe Dancel made new music, and the Habangbuhay EP was born. Now, the Filipino music icon aims to share his latest record with the world through a limited edition 10-inch silver-colored vinyl. And if fans would like, he might even sign it.

Released in 2022, Habangbuhay is a four-track EP that showcases Dancel’s talent in storytelling. He has described it as a “wedding-themed EP,” with each of the songs seemingly representing a particular moment in a wedding ceremony.

‘Manatili,’ the first of the four to be released and produced by Rico Blanco, is the singer-songwriter’s love letter to God. ‘Tanging Kailangan’ is his version of wedding vows. ‘Huling Unang Sayaw’ portrays a couple’s first dance, shown both in the single and the music video. Lastly, ‘Habangbuhay’ paints a picture of finding happiness in true love.

Dancel has performed his new songs live in various events, most notably at Balcony Live where he shared the stage with fellow musicians under the Balcony Entertainment roster: Zild, Maris Racal, Never The Strangers, Raven, and more.
